BTS® Synthetic Silicone Brake & Caliper Grease is designed as a problem solving, anti-wear and anti-corrosion lubricant for all moving caliper hardware, backing plates, and seals of disc brake caliper assemblies. This shear stable, non-melting silicone lubricant provides maximum protection over a wide temperature range from -50°F to 570°F (-45°C to 298°C). It is insoluble in both water and brake fluids and compatible with most plastics and rubbers, especially ethylene propylene terpolymer (EPDM, EPT) commonly used in disc brake caliper systems. Uses include metal contact points, backing plates & sliding surfaces.
